HHIO 2026 Calendar Photo Competition

Welcome to the inaugural annual HHIO Calendar. Each month is open to send in your photos (landscape not portrait) of your horse on HHIO & the feed protocol to pics@healthyhorsesinsideout.co.nz. The photo is published on our Facebook page and at the end of the month the photo with the most 'likes' wins that months calendar spot. The winner wins a 1.2kg HHIO Performance and will receive a copy of the HHIO 2026 calendar.

Piper
Sophie has owned Piper (5yo) for 3 years & has been on HHIO since her arrival. She has HHIO Foundation, Support & salt daily, & has extra Assist whilst going to shows. (Changed to Performance when in full competitive work). Piper is also on 1/2 cup of copra, 1/2-3/4 cup of ground linseed and a scoop of lucerne chaff.

Laura & Sophia John
Chazz
Laura John & Sophia have owned Chazz (6yo) for approximately 2 years and he has been on HHIO product since his arrival, with the minerals fed depending on the time of year. Chazz is currently on HHIO Performance, Support, crushed linseed & copra mixed with lucerne chaff. This photo was taken on Sunday at the Thames valley adult riding club ribbon day that was proudly sponsored by HHIO. Champion in hand, champion ridden, & champion overall gelding! We love your products.

Tania Boyd & Arcoda's Natural Honour, Cairo to his friends
10 year old Cairo switched to HHIO in August 2024. He has struggled with some metabolic issues. He is on HHIO Foundation & HHIO Restore (and HHIO Assist when needed) with lucerne fibre pellets, timothy pellets - both soaked with linseed flake, cold pressed flaxseed oil, chromium and lucerne chaff with meadow hay on a track system. Can't thank you guys enough for all your help with him - it's been a game changer.

**Grace Gower & herd**
Mum bought a big bag of Thrive when HHIO had a special. And everyone is shiny! Especially my chestnut TB mare, Maya. Weight gain for Maya has been a work in progress for the few months I've owned her but now she's looking pretty delicious. All of them have been getting Timothy chaff, ground linseed, salt, and HHIO Thrive. Maya gets coprice rice bran pellets as well. All her fat friends only get teeny tiny feeds.

MAY 2026

**Anna Verstappen & Miles**
Just wanted to share my shiny lad Myles. I’ve had him 3 months and he was in pretty poor/overly lean condition when I got him and I just focused on building his condition up and getting his gut right. Have been feeding him a scoop of Timothy chaff, gastro fuel and in the early days copra and linseed. Alongside the hard feed I’ve fed support and magnesium by HHIO. He’s doing fab. Thanks for all the support and fab products!

**JUNE 2026**
**Donna Price & Duke**
Donna has been feeding Duke HHIO & the clean feeding principals since he was diagnosed with ulcers back in Feb 2024. She followed the HHIO recommendations religiously (alongside initial vet ulcer treatment) and he is now been ulcer free and looking his best self continuously! This is him after his clip in April! How amazing does he look! He is in full work. "This is Duke, post clip. Everyone thought I’d washed him. I took great pleasure in advising that no. I’d just clipped him. Definitely rocking health from the inside out. "

**Vicky Sandford & Totara**
"It’s always unfortunate to have to get the vet out , and net result Tōtara is going to be absolutely fine (hurt her leg). But when the vet’s first comment is - Gosh she is in excellent condition, look at that shine! Then: She is so shiny, is she covered all the time? (No, she’s covered at night, but she’s on HHIO). And after treating-
What’s her feed regime? (The vet was watching her munch in to brown top hay from the feeder- i.e. pretty much zero nutritional value). I told her Hekeao whole food muesli and HHIO Foundation and Support. And that I was particular about the Recommended dosages of HHIO Plus salt. The vet wanted screen shots of the products so she could read about them. She was very impressed with Totara’s condition. Which made me feel happy! Tōtara has hunted all season, (our first season for both of us). It’s been full on and to come out of it with her so healthy and shiny is thanks to HHIO! So yeah. Very happy. But I’ve been using HHIO for close to a year now? Had my previous horse on it, thanks to Natalie De Caro for recommending and giving me samples to try."

By entering the Show us the Shine photo competition, you grant Healthy Horses Inside Out the right to use your photo for promotional and marketing initiatives. Any photo entered has specific permission of the owner to use image publicly and for commercial purposes. HHIO takes it on good faith that what you are feeding is honest and correct. At the end of each month, entries will be voted for on HHIO Facebook page. The winner is announced also by Facebook post and then my email. Winner of each month receives a 1.2kg supply of HHIO Performance and a published spot in the inaugural HHIO annual calendar.
