Suitable for all equines and specifically those that hold their weight easily in work, or those that have trouble holding weight out of work.
Information
Targets the commonly deficient minerals, vitamins and aminos whilst not contributing to excessive ones (Iron, Manganese & Potassium!). It is jammed packed with everything your horse typically needs. This is a highly concentrated supplement with no fillers to bulk it out. Not suitable to feed in 'just chaff' unless you have one of those types that will eat absolutely anything!

Together with your Foundation, Toto gets a cupful of oats (cooked the night before); ground flax seeds; ½ cup copra (soaked); 2 tablespoons of NZ sea salt; 3 big scoops of lucerne chaff and I have added a tablespoon of desiccated coconut!

But when the vet’s first comment is : Gosh she is in excellent condition, look at that shine! Then: She is so shiny, is she covered all the time? (No, she’s covered at night, but she’s on HHIO) And after treating- What’s her feed regime? (The vet was watching her munch in to brown top hay from the feeder- ie pretty much zero nutritional value) I told her Hekeao whole food muesli and HHIO Foundation and Support. And that I was particular about the Recommended dosages Plus salt. The vet wanted screen shots of the products so she could read about them. She was very impressed with Totara’s condition. Which made me feel happy! Tōtara has hunted all season, (our first season for both of us). It’s been full on and to come out of it with her so healthy and shiny is thanks to HHIO! So yeah. Very happy. But I’ve been using HHIO for close to a year now? Had my previous horse on it, thanks to Natalie De Caro for recommending and giving me samples to try.
